What is with this weather?
In Like a Lion, Out like a Lamb. According to the Farmers’ Almanac, the weather folklore stems from ancestral beliefs in balance, meaning if the weather at the start of March was bad (roaring, like a roaring lion), the month should end with good weather (gentle, like a lamb). Wavy.com
I, for one, am looking forward to the end of March. Lora and I live in the East Bay Area of California. We’ve had years of drought – longed for the rain, prayed for the rain, delighted when it sprinkled. The last three months have not been at all “typical” California weather. Blink, blink.

Lora and I will be headed to Sonora, CA for a quilt retreat this coming week. Woohoo! We’re sew looking forward to it. The forecast is rain, rain, rain. However, I think we’ll do as Mr. Angelo recommends.

Hi, I bought your Wallah pattern last year. I am putting together blocks for a 2nd quilt just now. I am wondering if you consider this to be a “Modern Quilt “. I want to enter an additional quilt in my local show as a modern piece. I sure think it is modern.

I think it is a bit modern too. It can go either way depending on the fabrics chosen.
