Welcome to Material Girlfriends’ Annual Mystery class! I’ll post more about this fun class next week and give you a few clues to help you choose your fabrics for “Bundles and Bows”. In the meantime, check out the video on what we’ve done in the past. The list of classes is below, as well as fabric requirements.
Bundles and Bows Mystery Classes:
In-Person at In Between Stitches, February 19. Check it out here (I know this class is listed as Boxes and Bows but upon searching for pattern names, there were too many Boxes and Bows patterns already published so I changed the name after Melissa had the class listed. My bad.)
In-Person at Sierra Gold Quilters Guild, February 15. This might be a closed group. I’ll have to check for you if you’re local to this guild and want to visit.
Material Girlfriends’ Zoom Mystery Class, February 18. Sign up here on materialgirlfriendsshop.com
Fabric Requirements. Same song, second verse. ALL our mysteries start with the same ingredients, 24 Light 10″ squares and 24 Dark/Medium 10″ squares. The squares can all be scrappy or the same fabrics. One of our Bundles and Bows quilts used a cream marble for all the light 10″ squares and many colors for the Dark/Medium 10″ squares. The second Bundles and Bows sample we made is scrappy batiks for Lights and Darks. BOTH samples turn out beautiful. We’re happy to help you choose so that you have a successful experience. Just send your choice ideas to Lisa@MaterialGirlfriends.com and I’ll give you my honest thoughts on your selection.
Download the supply list below for everything you might need.
This year we’re going to make fabric kits available for the Mystery workshops. I won’t have them listed until after next week. The Road to California show has my hands full at the moment. Check back soon for the pretty options we have in store.
